A Happy New Year !

January　５th

おせち〜ちび太がカメラ目線！

It is a bit late to say but Happy New Year!!

How was your year? For me it was fulfilling year both
for private and carrier. I made a runway show in Tokyo
and had a lots of opportunities to go abroad in private.
In the end it was so wonderful!!

I am wondering how it turns to be for this year,,,
I think if you believe, it would come true. It is important to try in order to make it happen.

At the end of year, I went to my parents home in Osaka
and we had my boyfriend first time there. For him,
there were many first things experienced such as New
Year's traditional foods or etc,,
It was a bit unfamiliar for him but I was really glad to spend
together. Also I had a chance to meet my friend or
visit Kyoto. It was first time in the long time to go
Kyoto at the new year day.
Normally that place is supposed to be romantic but it was ruined because of
too many people.

明けましておめでとうございます！
本年もどうぞ宜しくお願いします！！

去年はどんなとしでしたか？
私はとても充実した一年でした。プライベートも仕事も。
仕事では久しぶりに東京でショーを行ったり。
プライベートでは海外に多く行きました。楽しかった！

今年はどんな年になるでしょうか？
良い年になるよう、がんばることが大事ですよね、
私は願いは叶うと思うので！
絶対にこうなる！と決めたらそうなるよう妄想して唱え、実行する。
これが一番。

年末は大阪の実家に帰り、ボーイフレンドも初大阪！
初めてのリアルな日本。大丈夫かな？なんて。
おせちは全然食べれなかったけど、来てくれて嬉しかったし、
とても楽しかった！友人宅にも新年のご挨拶。

そう、お正月に京都、久しぶりに行きましたよ、
私たちの地元では、なんとなくお正月の京都はデートな感じだった気がします。
初詣で京都行く？みたいな、
高校生ぐらいのとき、行きたくなかったですかー？初詣デート。笑笑
高校生っぽい。実際は行ったことないけどっ笑
今回行ったのは祇園で大人な感じ。
しかしまぁすごい人で、実際はロマンティックさは無いですけどね。

今年は、もっとブログ更新するようがんばります！
なので更新されていない、、というため息の後、またのぞきに来て下さいね！！

今年も皆さんにとって素晴らしい一年になりますように！！

Merry Christmas

December 25th

I spend Xmas at my boyfriend parents' home in England this year.
There are some many things to learn about their culture as it is quite different from ours.
In England, Christmas celabration is like our new year. There, all of families get together, eat foods and exchage gifts on Xmas day.

Also, Christmas Carol was so beautiful. And it is the nineth in Japan, and they have Queen Elizabeth's official greeting for public when we have Emperor's New Year's greeting here. In stead of the tolling of temple bells at midnight on New Year's Eve, charch bells was sounding there.

The town was really quiet like the feeling of Japanese New Years' silence as well as cool air but reamains particuler sanctity atmosphere. I always feel that air.

On the Christmas eve, when I pulled the blankets off, I found many presents there! It made me so happy and brought me back my childhood.

The food was incredible and delicious! I know it is not easy to tell what English home cooking is,,,, His mother is amazingly good at cooking! Oven cooking is major and the source is so tasty.
I wish I could get you one someday!!

I had so fantastic Christmas time !

I gifted to his nephew "Ninjya set"!! He was so lovely !!!

今年のクリスマスはボーイフレンドの実家で過ごしました。
私もクリスチャンなのですが、やはり日本とイギリスでは習慣が違いますね〜
クリスマスはまるで日本で言うお正月ですね。
家族で集まり、食事をし、プレゼントを交換する。
クリスマスキャロルは日本では第九。エリザベス女王の挨拶は天皇陛下の年始挨拶。
除夜の鐘のかわりには教会のベルが響き渡っていました。
町もとても静かで、日本でお正月に感じる静寂さと冷たい外気。
でも何か神聖な独特の雰囲気。
私はいつも感じるのですが、その空気がありましたね。

彼の家族の方にもたくさんプレゼントを頂いて♡
イブの日にベットに行って布団をめくったらプレゼントがいっぱい入ってて、
キャーーーー♡　子供の頃に戻ったような感覚になれました。
すごい嬉しかった！

そして、なんといっても、お料理がすっごく美味でした。
本当に美味しい。イギリスの家庭料理ってイメージありますか？
あまり無いですよね？彼のお母さま超上手！
基本オーブン料理ですが、ソースがおいしいんだなぁ、、、
いつかみなさまにご紹介したいわ！！

とっても素敵なクリスマスとなりました！

Summer Christmas!

This year is ending. How is your plan at end year?
For me, I will be traveling to England from 21st! I am so excited about this.

I went to Singapore last week. I recently go there twice a month.
It is mid of summer in Singapore. Now it is great time to see Xmas illumination. But there are many people everywhere like shopping or sightseeing!

It is strange to see Xmas decoration in hot weather.

Palm tree and Santa Claus.

Singaporean love taking picture! As there are many good spots on the orchard street, it is nice to see people getting interesting poses like sexy or pretending a real model,,,

I am discovering many good restaurants there too.
I found a really good Thai restaurant in the Mandarin gallery.
It is so spicy but tasty. There, I had a green carry and tom yum soup
and it was first time to feel pain for hot! However, I cant stop eating!

I will show you another good restaurants with photos!!
As the noodle shop, "Ippudo" was open, there was a big queue.

There are many Japanese restaurants but you should try their local food as it is so great especially beef noodle!

Sometime, I don't know which one I should order as there are many options but I pick something same one somebody before me ordered! I quit enjoyed it!

As matter of fact, some girl had this beef noodle and I copied it! It was more than I expected! This food court is located in the building beside ION. This place makes me fat!

今年ももうすぐ終わりですね！

年末のご予定は？
私は２１日からイギリスに行きます〜楽しみ♡

先週は常夏シンガポールに行っておりました。
最近は月に2回ぐらい行っています。常夏で良いですよ〜〜

ちょうど今月はクリスマスでデコレーションがとっても綺麗です
でもすごーい人です！！ものすごく混んでいて、みんなクリスマスショッピング。

夏のクリスマスはちょっと不思議な感じがします。

ヤシの木とサンタクロース。

シンガポールの人たちは写真が大好き！
オーチャードロード沿いは、撮影スポットがたくさんあって、
みんなそのイルミネーションの中で記念撮影。
なぜかみんなキメ顔のセクシーポーズ。
グラビアアイドルばりのポーズをしている女子もいたりして。
みなさん楽しんでいます！

最近ちょっとおいしいレストランも覚えました〜

こないだ行った、マンダリンギャラリーの中にあるタイ料理。おいしかった！
すっごい辛いんだけど、スパイスが効いてて、なんか味わい深い。
グリーンカレーとトムヤムスープいただきまして、激辛でした。
初めて、辛いって痛い。って思いましたよ。
でも癖になっちゃうかも！是非行ってみて下さい〜

Beef noodle

このビルには新しく”一風堂”も出来てて、すごい列でしたよ〜

日本食はたくさんあります。
でも、わざわざ食べなくても、ローカルフードを是非！
ローカルフードはおいしくて好き♡　ビーフヌードルおいしかった！
種類がたくさんあって、何かよくわからないから、前の人が頼んだもの、おいしそうだったら、同じの！って頼むようにして、
楽しんでいます〜〜〜
このビーフヌードルも。女の子が頼んでておいしそうだったから。期待以上でした！！こちらはIONのとなりのビルの上のフードコートです〜

食べてばっかりで、ここに来ると太っちゃうかも！！☺

Hankyu Nishinomiya

November 20st

The talk show and party happened at Nishinomiya Hankyu
department store.
I was bit nervous talking in front of many people,,,
I introduced the next Spring collection over showing
runway video.
Our products will be line up at the multiple brand
shop, Tournage located 3rd floor of the department
store.
We also took some order at the event. It was a great
surprise to see many customers wearing my favorite
latest Autumn Winter items at that time,,,
It gave me so much power to create more valuable
products for the costumer!
I always appreciate their continuing support!!

今日はイベントのため西宮阪急百貨店に来ました。

３周年イベントでランチパーティと1階の会場にてトークショーを行いました
トークショーなんて緊張しますよね〜〜
ショーのビデオを見て頂きながら来シーズンの春物の商品をご紹介させて頂きました。
阪急西宮の３階トゥールナージュという阪急百貨店のセレクトショップにて
商品が取り扱われています。

顧客の方もお越し頂いて受注会を行いました。
驚いたのは顧客の方々が着て来て頂いてた服は私が自分でも来ている秋物の商品で
中でもお気に入りの物ばかり。とってもうれしく思いました！

またいつもAKIKO OGAWA.をご愛顧頂いている方々の期待に答えられるよう
素敵な商品を作らねば！！と気合いが入りました！

J:COM

November 18th　
Today, I went to the cable network TV station "J:COM"
for recording.
Since I know the host of program, Ms. Tetsuko Abe, I
got this offer.
As the program is featuring fashion, I introduced my
autumn winter collection and new home wear line called
"A-HOME" which will start from next Spring.
I was a bit tensed during the recording but I ended up
having a fun time!!
I was glad to see Abe-san this time!

今日はJ:COMの阿部哲子さんと菊井彰子さんの番組、素敵ライフに出演しました。　阿部哲子さんは以前良くショールムやイベントに良く来て頂いていました。そのよしみもあり、今回出演しました〜
テーマがファッションということで、秋冬の商品と、
新しく春から展開されますホームウェアA-HOMEのご紹介をしました。
映像は緊張しますね〜　とても楽しかったです。放映は１１月末あたり。

久しぶりに阿部さんにお会いできてよかったです！

10th Anniversary show at CONTAD TOKYO !!

October 11th

It has been for 10 years since I first had a runway show in Tokyo. Celebrating the anniversary, we had a runway at the cafe " Twenty Eight", 28th floor of CONRAD hotel in Shiodome, Tokyo.
It was the first time in 6 years to have show in Tokyo and in 2 years for runway itself.

This time theme is "JET SETTER".

This year is the 10th anniversary of AKIKO OGAWA.
The theme for her 2012 Spring Summer collection is "Jet-setter".

Ogawa wants to express the style and sophistication of the Japanese woman who travels the world on a special assignment and whose clothes are both for business and to party.
Her signature is a tailored jacket; cool and sexy.
The collection is in four distinct parts with the first being more structured with a base of black and white and an accent on lime green and lemon yellow.
Use of white luxury tweed from Linton (England) is both simple and very elegant.

Secondly in a less formal style are a draped jacket and skirts in Japanese silk double georgette with reduced structure and a more feminine shape than her traditional formal style suits. For colour she has mixed beige and grey to make "greyge" and coordinated this with items in peppermint to give a soft elegant feel.

The third section is a "rock chic" summer look using a washed linen and viscose jacket in a masculine military cut to provide the "rock" along with items such as an ocean print silk chiffon long dress, a white draped t-shirt and a tuxedo dress to give the "chic".

The final section is dramatic and expresses Asian beauty and style whilst retaining Japanese elements in the colours, scarlet, nume and Caribbean blue, the materials, such as silk cotton organza from Kyoto, and finally with style touches such as Kimono sleeves.

At the show, I really had a great time as I was able to meet so many people I had not seen for a while. I am so delighted to share this with these people.

It seems to go by fast but it also the years feel very long because of what I have gone through. Without the support from all of people, I could not have done that and I could not continue my business without the multi brand shops' support too.
Also I always appreciate my costumers for selecting my clothes and I will continue to make you happy.

Lastly, I would like to thank you to CONRAD TOKYO as I could realize the most luxury space and show my world.

I am so happy for these 10 years and I could not image what I was going to be 10 years ago,,,,

それを記念してランウェイショーを汐留コンラッド東京の２８階カフェTWENTY EIGHTにて行いました。

東京でのショーは６年ぶり。久しぶりでした。

また、ランウェイをするのも２年ぶりです。
